the author traces back secret societies to "the gods" and comes to the conclusion that aliens have been tampering with humanity
to keep us imprisoned mentally and or spiritually.
as a child this was one of the first passages in the bible that made me question god, and one of the first that made me think the yhwh described in the the bible was not dissimilar to us in many ways, and clearly a being that like us, used machinery and technology to get things done... .
when i think of the mindset that wrote these scriptures, i can't help but liken it to the way native american indians would describe a locomotive train as an 'iron horse' though clearly it is not an iron horse, it's a case of using the words you know to describe a thing you do not understand.. if you believe the bible, or if you think it is an accurate teller of history... what do you think this biblical passage is descibing?.

fear not:
1st john 4:18: there is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.
but he who fears has not been made perfect in love.. 2nd timothy 1:7: for god has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
If the mind in detail describes future events in terms of location, personalities, specific information concerning event outcome then what would you think then? This has happened and is relatively well documented. Especially during the 19th century when for the most part people were far more open-minded.
I am skeptical about the "well documented" aspect of this... too much can be said to be documented and still meaningless.

It is rare, but precognitive thinking does exist, just reading about case studies coincidentally
does this amount to actual knowledge or just a really good guess from the subconscious? how would one tell the difference? and since there seems no consistancy.... I would go with guess.

in a book called the origin of consciousness, Julian Jaynes chalks up the gods to projections of inner voices and hallucinations which existed as the norm in the mentality of emerging human consciousness....
but he makes some startling statements which seem rather to confirm alien entities...
he says prior to some point, there are images of humans bowing to and receiving instruction from very large eyed "gods" which had eyes about 3x normal.... and after this point, the kings bowed to empty throne chairs and came up with divination to find the will of the gods because their voices had ceased....
this seems to mesh well with a lot of UFO stories.
has anyone here read either of these books.
i am reading jesus and the lost goddess -- fascinating stuff!!!
pretty strong statements being made about jesus and the entire foundation of christianity... .
This is an interesting anti-messianic posture, of course. But it doesn't work now that so many critical prophesies relating to the Jews, Jehovah's witnesses and the second coming Christ are being fulfilled for those involved. So it's just a nonsensical assertion of those out of the loop at this point.
Poeple have always been able to read their life times into existant prophecies, that has little to do with them actually being fulfilled. Every and I do mean EVERY generation since it was written has been able to read itself into the book of revelations... just look at studies in the scriptures by russell who saw his day, prior to 1914 fulfilling so many critical prophecies, not to mention Miller in 1840s and many others before that.
the fact is that so many bible prophecies are out of context and partial statements which have nothing do to with Jesus or now.

fear to me is anticipation of pain.
experience has taught me that there is a high probability that pain will follow certain actions and that causes me to wisely pause and calculate the odds and benefit risk factors...
when I believe become too certain over the future.... when I have CONviNcED myself that I have some sort of psychic ability to know what WILL happen, I can become so fearful as to be crippled or panicked.
I have to remind myself at times, even now, years after learning these things, that I do not have the ability to KNOW the future and no matter how certain some outcomes seem, I have been wrong more times than not.
I have learned to pay attention to what is going on and to make my gamble from experiences but know it is always still a gamble.
sound familiar?.

feore suffered for riddick .
it all begins with an ideal fantasy.
once you have that firmly in place, you judge how all things do not live up to it or support it...it becomes the basis for your motivations.
if you believe this ideal is from God, it becomes you absolute divider for good or evil.
it becomes the glue which binds you to all others who share the same ideal...you now work towards supporting whatever brings about this ideal and you work to destroy whatever harms it... you feel anger towards anything that harms it, you hate what harms your ideal.
the contradictions that flow naturally from this view of things are not apparent at first... reality seems flawed and the ideal seems perfect... but you do not see that it is only because you have already been brainwashed to accept an ideal fantasy as superior to reality that such an idea can even exist within you... you cannot even conceive of reality be perfectly as it must be... how could it be, there are so many violations of your ideal? the circular logic has escaped you.
the further CONtradiction of a god who knows in advance every single moment, yet damns just about all of them as not living up to an ideal fantasy which he of course already knew they would not, escapes you as well...the insanity of a god who demands what he knows never could be is impossible to even contemplate...god must be perfect, right? that means that such a CONtradiction must only exist in imperfect minds, so you must never see it.
The necromongers followed a man who EXPERIENCED something profound which caused him to believe in a TRUTH which was not validated by anything other than his own belief system... which happens to so many. their lack of imagination causes them to jump to one conclusion and becomes CONviNcED that it is THE TRUTH: eliminating all other possibilities without even knowing they exist... false certainty becomes passion as the quest to make everything and everyone bow to the unverified and unproven ideal becomes all CONsuming.

here is a thought.... since eunuchs had no seed, they could not commit adultry, and were often allowed to have as much sex with the harem girls they guarded as they liked... sounds like a good deal... they also could not commit adultry in their heart (^_^).
btw, adultry means to mix alien or illegal seed in the field of another.... most feared among ancient males, to raise the child of another pretending to be his own...because of his mates unfaithfulness.
eunuch have no testies, but they still have other equipment and fun they can have

in 1940, former zone servant harvey h. fink wrote that the wts was "set up by presumptous men whose interest in spite of their pretenses to the contray, is primarily selling books for revenue.." and that the wts demanded that books containing outdated doctrine would still "be sold to the people very definitely, because it wanted to get the revenue out of them in spite of the errors it willing admitted they contained.
strong words, indeed.
is the wts so currupt and greedy that they would knowlingly make their membership buy and sell books that contained admitted false prophecies and outdated doctrines?
I under stood every word of the babylon the great has fallen...
